Have you ever wondered, “how much does breast augmentation cost?” Many women want to have a breast augmentation, but they hesitate because they don’t know the amount they will be expected to pay. When it comes to cosmetic surgery, it’s important to consider all the factors of your decision, not just the financial ones. Every patient deserves a plastic surgeon who combines years of experience to deliver exceptional results. After 30 years in practice, board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. Ronald Schuster is known as talented, compassionate, and accomplished. At his private practice in Baltimore, Maryland, Dr. Schuster specializes in cosmetic surgery for the face, breast, and body.

Dr. Schuster keeps up with the latest advancements in the plastic surgery industry to help his patients achieve their personal goals. Dr. Schuster has performed hundreds of breast augmentations and is an Ideal Implant Preferred Surgeon due to his extensive expertise working with IDEAL IMPLANT® Structured Breast Implants, a new breast implant technology for women.

How Much Does Breast Augmentation Cost?

On RealSelf.com, the average cost of a breast augmentation is listed as $6,525. That figure can fluctuate based on several different factors. Your total price tag may be more or less depending on:

  • Your selected surgeon’s level of expertise
  • How involved or complex your procedure is
  • The implants you select
  • The city in which your surgeon practices
  • The type of anesthesia used and who administers it
  • Cost of recovery garments (sometimes lumped in with the surgical cost, sometimes not)
  • The time of year you choose to get your breast augmentation

Because cosmetic surgery is an elective procedure, it is not covered by health insurance plans. Dr. Schuster and his staff have a variety of financing options that will allow you to work out a payment plan that you’re comfortable with. You should ask questions like, “Does the overall cost cover pre-and post-op visits? Will the cost include any pain management?” to make sure you’re not surprised by anything.

During your personal consultation, Dr. Schuster will discuss all of the ins and outs of breast augmentation, including what goes on during the surgery and what you can expect to pay. He will also look at your unique anatomy—the width of your natural breasts, how soft your skin is, the amount of fat present, and any asymmetries and any other chest wall irregularities to determine what size and type of implant will help you meet your physical goals.

The IDEAL IMPLANT: A New Choice for Your Breast Augmentation

When contemplating, “how much does breast augmentation cost?” you’ll also need to look at the different implant types available on the market today: unstructured saline, silicone gel, and the new IDEAL IMPLANT Structured Breast Implants. While the IDEAL IMPLANT may have a slightly higher initial cost than some other implants, you also need to think about the longer-term implications of your investment.

Right now, if you choose silicone gel breast implants, the FDA recommends you obtain an MRI or ultrasound scan every two to three years to check for ruptures because a rupture in a silicone gel implant cannot be detected by looking at the breast, so it is called a “silent rupture.” “The average cost of an MRI in the U.S. is $2,000.” If you’re paying around $6,500 for your surgery, then $2,000 every 2-3 years after that, you’re spending a lot more in the future than you may want to.

The IDEAL IMPLANT looks and feels similar to a silicone gel implant, but you can detect a rupture just by a quick glance in the mirror. Dr. Schuster says, “With the new IDEAL IMPLANT, it behaves like a silicone gel implant, but when it does wear out the woman knows about it right away, so it gives her peace of mind. She knows what’s happening with the implant. She doesn’t have to worry about getting an MRI to find out about it.”

The IDEAL IMPLANT also has a lower rate of both rupture and capsular contracture when compared to silicone gel-filled implants, so you’re less likely to experience these issues in the first place. And, with only saline inside, a woman can have the peace of mind that comes with knowing the saline can be safely absorbed into her body tissues.

Breast Augmentation Before and After Photos

In these photos you’ll see a 33-year-old mother of two who disliked the sagging, uneven appearance of her breasts. She chose the IDEAL IMPLANT for her breast augmentation filled to 345 cc on the right, and 270 cc on the left. She was able to increase her cup size from a 34C to greater than a D cup.

These photos were taken nine months after breast augmentation, and the IDEAL IMPLANT allowed this patient to achieve the rounder, fuller look she was hoping for.

“I visited a couple surgeons for breast augmentation and felt comfortable with Dr. Schuster right away. . . . I was a 32A pre-surgery and decided to go with the IDEAL IMPLANT at 360 cc. I could not be happier with the results! My boobs look completely natural and still soft. I have not lost any sensation anywhere and the side effects were minimal compared to the result. The scar has faded a lot and it’s very hard to see. All my friends think my boobs look great now and a couple of them even said they want it done also. For your breast augmentation, you deserve a board-certified plastic surgeon who is straightforward and honest. At The Zwiebel Center for Plastic Surgery and Skin Care, Dr. Paul Zwiebel promises to guide you throughout your process with honesty and sincerity. If he believes a procedure is not right for you or it cannot realistically meet your goals, he will tell you.

“You need a surgeon who really understands what you want and how to help you meet your goals. You should be able to go into surgery not worrying that the doctor may do what they want to do rather than what you really want to have happen.”

Dr. Paul Zwiebel

When it comes to breast augmentation, it can be difficult to figure out exactly how much Denver breast implants cost, because every surgery is unique for each individual. When you meet with Dr. Zwiebel for your breast augmentation consultation, he can outline costs, answer your questions, and discuss other factors that should go into this important decision. Dr. Zwiebel is one of an exclusive group of doctors that offers his patients the new IDEAL IMPLANT® Structured Breast Implants

What is the IDEAL IMPLANT?

After undergoing ten years of development, testing, and refinement, the IDEAL IMPLANT was approved by both FDA and Health Canada in 2014. The IDEAL IMPLANT combines the look and feel of silicone gel implants with the safety of only saline inside. The IDEAL IMPLANT is a third option for breast augmentation that results in greater peace of mind for women.

The IDEAL IMPLANT is made up of a series of implant shells nested together, which controls the movement of the saline in a smooth, natural way. This structured design gives women the shape they want without the “water balloon” look and feel.  Folding and wrinkling are thought to be the main cause of implant rupture and deflation, and the IDEAL IMPLANT’s design reduces both of these common concerns. The edges are low for natural contouring to the chest wall.

Why Not Choose Silicone Gel Implants?

When you look at your different options for breast augmentation, you may be inclined to choose silicone gel implants as they have been available for a much longer time period. However, just because they’ve been around longer doesn’t mean they’re safer. Silicone gel implants are prone to “silent rupture”. This is where a leak or break occurs in the implant, but you don’t know it’s there. The only way to detect a silent rupture is with an MRI. Not every patient can afford to have these costly screenings every two years like the FDA recommends, so many patients ignore the warnings and don’t get their implants checked regularly.

When a silent rupture goes undetected for a lengthy period of time, other complications can start to show up. As the sticky silicone gel leaks out of the implant, it can come into contact with surrounding body tissue, leading to capsular contracture.

It’s not just about how much breast implants cost in Denver, it’s also about how you feel having the implant you chose inside your body for a long time. Women who choose the IDEAL IMPLANT have zero risk of silent rupture with these Denver breast implants. Costs like expensive MRIs are not necessary, because a woman can always know her IDEAL IMPLANTS are intact by just looking in the mirror.

If an IDEAL IMPLANT ruptures, it will deflate only slightly due to its dual-chamber design. There is no need to worry about the fluid that leaks out, because the IDEAL IMPLANT is filled with sterile saline, which is absorbed harmlessly by the body.

Selecting the Right Size Affects How Much Breast Implants Cost in Denver

Some women who have breast augmentation surgery do not feel like their plastic surgeon listens to their goals and expectations, but go ahead with surgery anyway. Then they end up  with breasts that are not the size they wanted and find themselves completely dissatisfied. This can lead to subsequent surgeries, increasing the initial cost of the procedure. At The Zwiebel Center for Plastic Surgery and Skin Care, Dr. Zwiebel wants each and every patient to make sure they know what they want so a repeat surgery is not necessary.

“I have my patients try on implants so that we can get a sense of what look they want, and then we build on that. During the examination, I take specific measurements of each person to make sure that we’re selecting an implant that will fit anatomically. Then, from there, we’ll go on to some of the aesthetic considerations. We discuss how much volume it’s going to take to create the appearance that an individual woman is looking for and if that’s achievable or not.”

Dr. Paul Zwiebel

At Dr. Zwiebel’s office, patients can see how their potential breasts will look with the VECTRA XT 3D Imaging Solution. This machine takes images of your breasts to simulate the possibilities of your aesthetic procedure. Patients can also “sign out” the specific implant size they like and wear them at home with different items from their wardrobe.

“I even suggest bra shopping with the implants on to see if they fill out the bras in the way that they want to fill them out. We don’t want any surprises post-op that the implants are a little bit too big or a little too small for the bras that they would like to wear.”

Dr. Paul Zwiebel

Another benefit to the IDEAL IMPLANT? It comes with lower risks of both rupture and capsular contracture when compared to silicone gel implants, at 8 years for primary augmentation. Click on this chart to see how the implants compare side-by-side in FDA clinical trials.

Dr. Zwiebel says, “For the patients who have chosen IDEAL IMPLANT Structured Breast Implants for their breast augmentation, the satisfaction has been unanimous. Women love the appearance and the feel of the IDEAL IMPLANT, as well as the peace of mind that it carries fewer risks and complications than most alternatives.”

A Before and After Breast Enhancement with Dr. Blagg

IMPORTANT NOTE: Below you may find untouched before and after photos of patients who have granted permission to their surgeon to show them anonymously. While we protect the identities of our patients, please be advised that by their nature, these photos contain sensitive content.

Looking for the best plastic surgeon for your breast enhancement procedure? At Synergy Plastic Surgery, Dr. Ross Blagg is a board-certified plastic surgeon who treats each and every patient with a personalized approach. He says, “My priority is for patients to feel they are in a comfortable, welcoming environment that’s free of judgment.” Dr. Blagg is one of an exclusive group of doctors to offer his patients the latest in breast augmentation with the new IDEAL IMPLANT® Structured Breast Implants.

What is the IDEAL IMPLANT?

In the past, women only had two options for larger, fuller breasts: silicone gel-filled implants or unstructured saline implants. IDEAL IMPLANT Structured Breast Implants were designed by a plastic surgeon to give women a third option for breast augmentation. This new implant technology gives women the look of silicone gel breast implants with the safety of only saline inside. The IDEAL IMPLANT’s design is unique. A series of nested shells and an upper pole inside the shell of the implant gives it structure and cuts down on wrinkling and rippling. The result is a smooth, beautiful implant that feels and looks natural. It also requires a smaller incision in surgery because it’s inserted into the breast pocket empty instead of pre-filled. This allows plastic surgeons to adjust the fill volume during the procedure for more symmetrical breasts and produces less noticeable scars.

Breast Enhancement Before and After with IDEAL IMPLANT

Many women considering breast augmentation find it helpful to see pictures of other patients who have had the procedure. In these photos, you’ll see photos of a 28-year-old woman who chose the IDEAL IMPLANT for her primary breast augmentation. The right implant was filled to 545 cc and the left implant was filled to 500 cc, giving this patient a full, symmetrical profile.

No Fear of Silent Rupture

In a 2017 independent survey of 933 women, 98% reported they would be concerned about silent rupture with silicone gel implants. Silent rupture occurs when there is a tear or rupture in the implant without your knowledge. This is a problem with silicone gel-filled implants and can lead to further complications such as capsular contracture. Many women who have a rupture in their silicone gel implants may not know it’s there for weeks, months, or even years, until they develop more noticeable symptoms. The FDA recommends that women who have silicone gel implants get an MRI every two-to-three years to check for silent ruptures.

With the IDEAL IMPLANT, there is no risk of silent rupture! Women don’t have to spend time stressing about a rupture, because they’ll be able to look in the mirror and see it immediately. Rupture causes a slight deflation in an IDEAL IMPLANT, but women can rest easy knowing that the only thing leaking out is a sterile saline solution that is absorbed by the body harmlessly. This eight-year study looked at rates of rupture and capsular contracture comparing women with silicone gel-filled implants and those who had the IDEAL IMPLANT. The results of the study showed that the risk of both of these common breast enhancement implant complications was lower with the IDEAL IMPLANT.

Stoneham, MA, Plastic Surgery Before and After: What You Need to Know

IMPORTANT NOTE: Below you may find untouched before and after photos of patients who have granted permission to their surgeon to show them anonymously. While we protect the identities of our patients, please be advised that by their nature, these photos contain sensitive content.

Breast implants have changed over time. Advancements in technology have brought about new types of implants as well as improved existing kinds. Plastic surgeon Dr. Jonathan Hall is an exclusive provider of the latest in implant technology—IDEAL IMPLANT® Structured Breast Implants. In Stoneham, MA, plastic surgery, before and after, is seeing a transformation with this new, FDA-approved implant choice that offers the benefits of both saline and silicone gel implants.

What is an IDEAL IMPLANT?

IDEAL IMPLANTS have a unique design that provides the natural look and feel of a silicone gel implant, yet gives the peace of mind of a saline implant. It is made up of a series of implant shells that hold two separate chambers filled with saline. These extra layers of shell around the saline filler give the implant more stability and an internal, supportive structure that is not in earlier, unstructured saline implants.

In addition, the innovative design of the IDEAL IMPLANT controls the movement of the saline to eliminate what is known as the “water-hammer” effect and mitigate sloshing. IDEAL IMPLANTS do not behave like a water balloon, rather they deliver the projection and volume women desire from an implant. Women also do not have to worry about their implants collapsing or rippling like unstructured saline implants tend to do. With IDEAL IMPLANTS, women can achieve a youthful shape with realistic movement. In Stoneham, MA, plastic surgery, before and after images are useful tools to help women see the difference between unstructured saline implants and structured IDEAL IMPLANTS.

No Risk of “Silent Rupture”

Another benefit of IDEAL IMPLANT Structured Breast Implants is that women do not have to sacrifice beauty for security. As with any Stoneham, MA, plastic surgery before and after experience, complications following surgery can arise. Any type of breast implant can rupture at any time. If the IDEAL IMPLANT develops a hole or tear, the implant simply deflates and the body harmlessly absorbs the sterile saltwater solution.

With a silicone gel implant, women face the risk of “silent rupture.” The FDA states

“If a silicone gel-filled breast implant ruptures, it is not likely that you or your doctor will immediately notice because most silicone implant ruptures are without symptoms, ‘silent ruptures.’ A silent rupture doesn’t change the way an implant looks or feels, and your surgeon or health care provider may not be able to detect a silent rupture by a physical examination alone. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is the most effective method for detecting silent rupture of silicone gel-filled breast implants.”

While a “silent rupture” may not produce symptoms, it is still important to address the problem and take out the damaged silicone gel implant. When a rupture occurs, the sticky silicone gel escapes the implant and can spread into surrounding tissues, requiring surgery to remove it all. The FDA recommends all women with silicone gel implants receive an MRI scan the third year following breast augmentation surgery, then every two years thereafter for the life of their implants.

For more information about “silent rupture”, visit the FDA website here. The American Society of Plastic Surgeons website is also a great resource for information on breast augmentation surgery, implant choice, follow-up care, and potential complications.

Stoneham, MA, Plastic Surgery Before and After Images

What can you expect from plastic surgery, before and after, in Stoneham, MA? Below are images of the work of Dr. Hall. This patient is a mother in her late 30’s that breast fed her two children. Dr. Hall explains: “She describes herself as a 34 B-cup, but would like to be a C cup. She is 5’2” and 127 lbs., and is shown before and again 4½ months after bilateral partial subpectoral placement of IDEAL IMPLANT Structured Breast Implants. She had the 270 cc implant with the inner lumen filled to 165 cc, the outer lumen filled to 70 cc, along with the empty implant volume of 35 cc, to give a total volume of 270 cc. This is considered the “high” volume. The outer volume could also have been filled to a total of 200 cc to give the “100%” fill of 305 cc for this particular implant. She is thrilled with her fuller but still natural appearance.”

If you’re considering breast implants, you probably have a lot of questions about the procedure, recovery, and importantly, how much breast implants cost. If you want a natural looking breast augmentation, you have a few options for breast implants. Your primary breast augmentation cost will depend largely on the breast implants you choose. But did you know the long-term maintenance costs of breast implants can be extremely varied? This guide will help you pick the best breast implants for your body and your budget.

Before and After Pictures From Dr. Van Raalte

Your breast augmentation should leave you feeling confident and beautiful. Dr. Benjamin Van Raalte shares the following before and after pictures from a recent patient. This patient received 595 cc IDEAL IMPLANT® Structured Breast Implants filled to 625 cc.

Not all breast augmentations will look the same. Your results are based on several factors including your body type, the breast implants you choose, and your surgeon’s experience. To get natural results like the patient above, visit Dr. Van Raalte at Iowa Plastic Surgery. Dr. Van Raalte says when patients come in for a consultation

“We tend to offer all the different implant choices and review all of them. Some people are best fit with a particular implant because of their skin characteristics. There are some that have concerns about the gel or concerns about a long term rupture. The structured implant, or IDEAL IMPLANT, answers a lot of those concerns because it’s been demonstrated to have a very low deflation rate over time and yet has the feel of gel for those patients.”

Get the Look You Want From Your Breast Augmentation

You’ve waited and saved for a breast augmentation, you deserve to get the look you want. At your plastic surgeon’s office, you will be given several options for breast implants. How do you know which one is right for you? If you’re on a budget, you may be tempted to pick the least expensive option provided by your plastic surgeon. But, all breast implants are not going to give you the same look. Before we discuss how much breast implants cost, we need to look at the differences between the three types of implants so you can be sure you’re getting the look you want. Here is a short description of each type of breast implant.

  • Unstructured Saline: These implants are made from solid silicone shells filled with saline solution. Some surgeons describe them as feeling similar to water-balloons, and women complain they wrinkle under the skin. Many women choose saline because it is naturally absorbed by the body if the implant ruptures.
  • Silicone Gel: Silicone gel breast implants are known for providing a natural look and feel. They are made by filling a solid silicone shell with thick, sticky silicone gel. The downside to silicone gel breast implants is, if they rupture, the silicone gel should be removed as it is not naturally absorbed like saline.
  • Structured IDEAL IMPLANT: The newest breast implant type, the IDEAL IMPLANT Structured Breast Implant combines the benefits of saline and silicone gel. It is made of a solid silicone shell with two chambers and baffled layers. It is then filled with saline, but, because of the internal structure, it has a natural look and feel.

Dr. Van Raalte says that in addition to talking about how much breast implants cost, when women come in for a consultation, “We try to utilize everything from a lot of education to really doing a great job of figuring out the correct size and shape. It’s fitting the width, fitting their chest characteristics and between the education and the fit and figuring out what’s best for them.”

How Much Does a Breast Augmentation Cost?

The total cost of a primary breast augmentation will include the implants, surgeon’s fee, surgical facility, and anesthesia. RealSelf users report the average price around the nation is $6,475 while the American Society of Plastic Surgeons statistics show the cost averaged $3,824 in 2018. Some surgeons will offer a quote that only includes the surgeon’s fee. At Dr. Van Raalte’s office you will receive a quote that covers all aspects of surgery. Breast augmentations by Dr. Van Raalte range in price from $3,900 to $6,200. Learn more about what goes into the cost of a breast augmentation by visiting this page

Long Term Maintenance Factored Into Breast Implant Cost

What the estimates above do not reveal is the long term maintenance costs of some breast implants. The FDA recommends women with silicone gel breast implants get an MRI three years after a breast augmentation and every two years after that to check for silent ruptures. A silent rupture happens when a silicone gel breast implant begins to leak without showing symptoms. According to Nerdwallet the average price of an MRI, before insurance, is $2,600. Most insurance companies do not cover any costs associated with breast augmentation, including complications that result from one.

If you follow FDA recommendations after a silicone gel breast augmentation, your costs will quickly add up. Even if you do not ever encounter a rupture you will be paying thousands of dollars in maintenance costs over the years. Some women choose to ignore FDA recommendations and only return to their surgeon if they begin to feel symptoms such as hardening, pain, and lumps near their breast implants. That is why the FDA recommends removing it as soon as a rupture is detected in order to avoid symptoms or silicone gel migrating into your tissues or other parts of your body. Plastic surgery to remove and replace a leaked silicone gel breast implant can get messy. According to the FDA, “sometimes, after a rupture, the gel moves to other distant areas around the body, which is called extracapsular rupture with gel migration. It may be difficult or impossible to remove silicone gel after a rupture.”

There is no MRI requirement for women with saline and structured breast implants, as ruptures will be evident immediately. A hole in the outer shell means the saline will flow out, the implant will partially deflate, and the saline is naturally absorbed by the body. Lower maintenance costs, along with the peace of mind that rupture detection is instant, causes many women to choose saline implants. Now with the new IDEAL IMPLANT Structured Breast Implant women can have the same natural looking results of silicone gel, with the peace of mind that comes with saline.

Revision Surgery and Breast Implant Cost

Do you need to budget for a breast implant revision? How often do breast implants encounter complications such as rupture and capsular contracture? That again depends on the type of breast implant you choose. No one can tell you for certain whether you will need revision surgery in the future, though revision surgery is statistically more likely for women with certain breast implant types. Educating yourself about complication rates before you select a breast implant can give you peace of mind. Learn more about breast implant complications by visiting this page.

Dr. Park is proud to be part of an exclusive network of plastic surgeons to offer their cosmetic surgery patients the new IDEAL IMPLANT. The IDEAL IMPLANT has a unique structured design that is changing the way women feel about their breast implants; they no longer have to choose between the peace of mind of saline and the beauty of silicone gel. While the IDEAL IMPLANT provides a natural feel similar to that of silicone gel breast implants, it comes with none of the associated health concerns such as “silent rupture.” The IDEAL IMPLANT is filled with saline, or sterile saltwater solution. It has advanced, structured technology inside that gives breasts a natural look, feel, and movement.

IDEAL IMPLANT Before and After Photos

With the IDEAL IMPLANT, Dr. Park can give his cosmetic surgery patients the results they want in their breast enhancement. Dr. Park helped this woman achieve beautiful, natural looking results with 335 cc IDEAL IMPLANTS filled to 375 cc. In her ‘before’ photo, her bra size is 34B, and by 3 months post-op she was a 34D.

Why Breast Implants Cost Less With IDEAL IMPLANT

The cost of different types of breast implants varies. But when you are planning for your breast augmentation, it is important to know that there is the potential for expenses beyond just the breast implants’ cost up front. Breast implants can rupture or leak. If this happens with a silicone gel implant, it is known as silent rupture because the silicone gel inside the implant may leak into the body tissues with no visible signs. The FDA has recommended that women with silicone gel breast implants have an MRI after the first 3 years, then every other year to watch for silent rupture. These regular screenings may not be covered by insurance, and over time, can add up to an expensive responsibility on top of your initial surgery.

Data from FDA Core clinical trials over an 8 year period for women with primary breast augmentation supports that IDEAL IMPLANT patients may enjoy greater peace of mind. The research revealed that the risks for breast implant complications such as rupture/deflation, and capsular contracture are all lower with IDEAL IMPLANT than they are for silicone gel implants. Breast augmentation revision surgeries are expensive, but with IDEAL IMPLANT, you are much less likely to need them.

It’s hard to put a price on peace of mind, but women know the value it holds. Knowing that you will never experience silent rupture with IDEAL IMPLANT gives you the freedom to enjoy them without the stress. If an IDEAL IMPLANT ruptures, you will know immediately just by looking in a mirror and the saline solution is harmlessly absorbed into your body. When a silicone gel implant ruptures, the silicone gel inside sticks to the body tissues and requires a complicated surgery to clean up the mess of silicone gel and replace the implant.  When you compare the long-term cost of different types of breast implants, the IDEAL IMPLANT offers the most value by far.

Choosing IDEAL IMPLANT Over Unstructured Saline

The differences between the IDEAL IMPLANT and silicone gel breast implants is clear, but what sets them apart from traditional unstructured saline implants? Unstructured saline breast implants have been on the market for decades and are basically like a water balloon because they are filled with saline solution and lack any kind of internal structure.

The drawbacks of unstructured saline implants are aesthetic in nature. They move and feel more like a water balloon than a natural breast. Wrinkles and rippling are common problems associated with them as well, especially for women who are thin or have little existing breast tissue of their own. If you are having cosmetic surgery, one main goal is to gain confidence and satisfaction in the way you look, but unstructured saline breast implants don’t always help patients achieve the results they want. The IDEAL IMPLANT is not susceptible to these types of problems because of its design with an internal structure. Women can now enjoy the natural look and feel of their enhanced breasts without silicone gel or its associated concerns.

How the IDEAL IMPLANT Maximizes Breast Lift Results

IMPORTANT NOTE: Below you may find untouched before and after photos of patients who have granted permission to their surgeon to show them anonymously. While we protect the identities of our patients, please be advised that by their nature, these photos contain sensitive content.

Every pair of breasts is as unique as the woman who owns them, and every breast augmentation patient has different desires and goals for the look she wants to achieve. However, two important factors do seem to remain common among women seeking breast enhancement. Most want a natural-looking end result and all of them want an implant that allows them to feel good about their safety.

IDEAL IMPLANT® Structured Breast Implants are the latest form of breast implant technology on the market. They satisfy both of these key priorities for plastic surgeons and their patients. If you want to add volume to your breasts, the IDEAL IMPLANT can help you achieve the results you want while giving you the peace of mind you need about safety.

The Beauty of IDEAL IMPLANT

IDEAL IMPLANT patients enjoy augmented breasts that feel and look natural because of its unique design. Separate chambers inside the IDEAL IMPLANT allow the saline inside to move in a way that is controlled. This gives the implant a firmer feel than traditional saline breast implants which feel like a water balloon, yet it still maintains the soft touchable feel that a silicone gel implant can offer.

The Security of IDEAL IMPLANT

The IDEAL IMPLANT not only gives women a beautiful, natural-looking breast enhancement outcome, it also gives them the freedom to never have to worry about their breast implants rupturing without them knowing. Silicone gel breast implant patients run the risk of experiencing silent rupture, which happens when silicone gel leaks out of the implant and into the body through a hole or tear. The IDEAL IMPLANT has zero risk for silent rupture. If it does become damaged, a simple look in the mirror will alert you right away. The implant will partially deflate, and the surgery to replace it is simple with no messy cleanup of sticky silicone gel.

IDEAL IMPLANT patients also enjoy lower risks for other complications, such as capsular contracture and rupture or deflation. Recent findings from FDA trial data studies on the IDEAL IMPLANT (after eight years with primary augmentation) show that its capsular contracture rate is 6.6 percent, while a major silicone gel brand implant’s rate is as high as 16.6 percent. IDEAL IMPLANT’s rate of rupture was found to be just 2.1 percent compared to another brand of silicone gel implants that is 13.6 percent.

What do these numbers mean for you? If you choose IDEAL IMPLANT for your breast enhancement, you’re getting breast implants that are proven to come with lower risks than others. You’re choosing peace of mind without compromising on beauty.

IDEAL IMPLANT and Breast Lift Surgery

Some women cannot obtain the look they wish for with breast implants alone. If the breasts sag or droop significantly, implants will add weight and make them sit even lower. Mastopexy, or a breast lift, will give the breasts a more youthful appearance by moving the nipple and areola to a higher position and removing excess tissue.

Breast augmentation enhances the breasts even further when combined with a lift. The two procedures work together to create a rejuvenated bust that is full, perky, and beautiful. The IDEAL IMPLANT works well for women who want to fix breast sagginess with a breast lift. The dome-like shape of the implant helps provide more lift and outward projection for breasts that droop.

Why IDEAL IMPLANT is the Best in Breast Implants Before and After You Turn 20

IMPORTANT NOTE: Below you may find untouched before and after photos of patients who have granted permission to their surgeon to show them anonymously. While we protect the identities of our patients, please be advised that by their nature, these photos contain sensitive content.

Breast augmentation is a procedure that helps young women gain confidence for many reasons. Correcting asymmetry and enhancing breast fullness can make clothing and swimwear fit better and look more flattering. Breast implants can also provide a more balanced proportion for your figure. For women whose breasts never fully developed during their teens, getting implants in your 20s can enhance your feminine shape. If you have researched breast implants before and after photos online, it is easy to see the difference the enhancement can make. Once you decide to take advantage of the benefits of breast augmentation, it is time to start considering your options for implants. You might be surprised to learn that not all breast implants are created equal.

Saline vs. Silicone Gel Implants

Most breast augmentation patients are familiar with the basic options for breast implants before and after their initial consultation. Saline breast implants are FDA-approved for women 18 and up and add breast volume without the use of silicone gel. However, they have a feel that is similar to a water balloon and tend to show rippling and wrinkling through the breast. Silicone gel breast implants have a more natural look and feel, but recent questions surrounding their safety make some women uneasy. Because of these concerns, silicone gel implants are FDA-approved for women age 22 and older. Younger women must consider alternative options.

The IDEAL IMPLANT Difference

The new IDEAL IMPLANT® Structured Breast Implants are an option for women who want breast enhancement without having to compromise on peace of mind or beauty. They are filled with saline, so there is never a risk for undetected silicone gel leakage, or silent rupture from these breast implants. Before and after the initial consultation, women notice that the IDEAL IMPLANT’s inner design gives it the structure that traditional saline implants lack. The result is a breast implant that looks and feels beautifully natural with the security of never having to worry about silent rupture.

Unlike silicone gel breast implants, the IDEAL IMPLANT is FDA-approved for women 18 and up and does not require regular MRIs to look for possible leakage. IDEAL IMPLANT patients can tell if their implants are intact by simply looking in the mirror. Board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. David M. Creech is a member of the exclusive network of surgeons to provide IDEAL IMPLANT, and his patients are happy with their breast implants before and after photos. He says,

“Once I go through the advantages and disadvantages between the silicone gel and the IDEAL IMPLANT, a lot of my patients are converting over to IDEAL IMPLANT.”

Breast Implants Before and After Photos With Dr. David M. Creech

The IDEAL IMPLANT is the perfect choice for women in their early 20s because it allows them to enhance their breasts without the maintenance that comes with having silicone gel implants. There is no need for routine MRI monitoring and no reason to have them replaced after a certain amount of time. Easy leakage detection and natural-looking results in their breast implants before and after photos have patients like these young women very satisfied with their implant choice.

This 25 year-old woman received the IDEAL IMPLANT with Dr. Creech. The “after” photos show her beautiful results with her left implant filled to 555 cc and her right filled with 600 cc.

The 21 year-old woman in these breast implants before and after photos is another satisfied patient of Dr. Creech. He filled her left implant to 405 cc and her right to 455 cc.

IDEAL IMPLANT: Lower Risks Means Peace of Mind

Dr. Creech is proud to offer his breast augmentation patients the latest implant technology so they will be happy with their choice of breast implants before and after their surgery. Compared to the primary augmentation of other types of implants, the IDEAL IMPLANT has lower rates of capsular contracture, deflation, and rupture. The lower risk for these complications make IDEAL IMPLANT the perfect choice for women in their early 20s. Dr. Creech says,

“Statistically the IDEAL IMPLANT has a much better track record versus the silicone gel and saline implants. That’s a huge advantage. Time will tell, but the way that the data is going I think the IDEAL IMPLANT is actually going to become the most wanted implant on the market.”

Before and After Photos of a McKinney Plastic Surgery with IDEAL IMPLANT

As you age, your breasts tend to lose the high, perky position they held in your youth. Life changes such as pregnancy or weight loss can also affect your breasts; they can lose volume and shape. A breast augmentation combined with a lift can add volume to your breasts and reposition them for a more youthful look. Patients wondering about breast augmentation cost in McKinney, TX put their trust in the technical skills and experience of board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. Naveen Setty. Dr. Setty is a Realself “Top Doctor” and believes strongly in delivering high quality results to his patients. Dr. Setty is one of an exclusive group of doctors to offer his patients the latest in breast implant technology with the new IDEAL IMPLANT® Structured Breast Implants.

McKinney Plastic Surgery: A Before and After Breast Augmentation & Lift

A breast lift and augmentation can improve the fullness and skin laxity of the breasts at the same time. If you’re not sure what your goals are for your breast augmentation and lift, during your consultation Dr. Setty can show you before and after photos of previous patients who have had the surgery performed.

In these photos you’ll see a 36-year-old woman who received a bilateral breast augmentation and lift with 415 cc IDEAL IMPLANTS. The “after” photos were taken 12 months after surgery and she continues to be happy with her results.

Why Choose the IDEAL IMPLANT?

Since the IDEAL IMPLANT is still relatively new (approved by the FDA and Health Canada in 2014), some McKinney plastic surgery patients don’t know much about it. One of the main reasons this implant was designed, was to give women the natural look and feel of silicone gel with the safety of only saline inside. Though traditional, unstructured saline implants tend to wrinkle or ripple, the IDEAL IMPLANT is supported internally by a series of nested shells, which gives the implant a unique structure. The saline is held in place by this structure which results in a smooth, beautiful implant that feels and looks natural. For patients who are worried about breast augmentation cost in McKinney, TX, the price of the IDEAL IMPLANT may be only about $500 more than silicone gel implants, and because the IDEAL IMPLANT is inserted into the breast pocket empty, it requires a smaller incision than silicone gel implants.

Dr. Setty says, “Most women come in with slight breast asymmetries, and silicone gel implants come pre-filled, so sometimes you can’t find that exact size that you need for each breast to give a more symmetrical result. With the IDEAL IMPLANT, I have the ability to adjust the fill volume and make the breasts more symmetrical overall. That’s a nice thing from a surgical standpoint.”

No Silent Rupture Concerns with IDEAL IMPLANT

If you had a rupture in your breast implants, wouldn’t you want to know about it? McKinney plastic surgery patients who choose silicone gel implants can experience a “silent rupture,” where a break or tear in the implant occurs, but they don’t know it’s there until weeks, months, or even years later. In a 2017 independent survey of 933 women, 98% of women reported they would be somewhat concerned to constantly concerned about silent rupture with silicone gel implants.

Dr. Setty says, “A lot of women are concerned about monitoring silicone gel implants for silent rupture, which you don’t have to do with the IDEAL IMPLANT.” The IDEAL IMPLANT has two separate chambers that hold the saline filler, and if part of your implant ruptures, the implant will deflate slightly. You can look in the mirror and see the rupture immediately. Unlike ruptures with a silicone gel implant, where sticky silicone gel can leak into the body tissues, the only thing entering your body from a ruptured IDEAL IMPLANT is a sterile saline solution that is absorbed safely without any health risks. This 8-year study shows that only 2.1% of patients with the IDEAL IMPLANT for primary augmentation even experienced a rupture in their implants, while silicone gel implants had much higher rupture rates.

Long-term Breast Augmentation Cost in McKinney, TX

You may be wondering, if a rupture is silent, then how do women with silicone gel implants ever find them? The FDA recommends that a woman with silicone gel implants should get an MRI scan three years after surgery, and every two years after that to check for ruptures. These MRIs are not covered by insurance, which means the money comes out of your pocket. These MRIs cost hundreds to thousands of dollars, which results in a larger long-term cost for silicone gel implants. McKinney plastic surgery patients who pick the IDEAL IMPLANT don’t have to worry about paying for expensive MRIs. They can have confidence their implants are intact every day with a quick glance in the mirror.

Another thing to consider before selecting implants for your breast augmentation, is how many future surgeries you may have down the road. For example, Dr. Setty says replacing a ruptured silicone gel implant can take an hour or more, depending on the severity of the rupture:

“If the silicone gel has spread everywhere, it could be even longer than that. We have to be much more cognizant in removing all the scar tissue and making sure we get all that silicone gel out, so it definitely adds at least an hour. From a recovery standpoint, it will add more time also because of having to remove that scar tissue and aggressive moving of the surrounding tissues. So cleaning up a silent rupture in a silicone gel implant definitely makes it more difficult at the time of surgery as well as afterwards.”

Most surgeons recommend that women with silicone gel implants replace them every 10 years, because the risk of rupture goes up the longer they stay in. So, if you select silicone gel implants, it’s important to consider the long term costs of both routine MRIs and breast implant revision surgeries you may need in the future. With the IDEAL IMPLANT, there’s no need to worry about the 10-year rule. The implants can be left in as long as you’re still happy with them. If a breast implant revision surgery is needed,  Dr. Setty says “it’s a straightforward and simple process.” IDEAL IMPLANTS can be swapped out with new ones without having to worry about cleaning out any silicone gel.

For Stunning Results, Select Dr. Setty and the IDEAL IMPLANT

Dr. Setty says he has consistently received positive feedback from his patients, and even members of his team about the IDEAL IMPLANT, “I have one staff member that actually has the IDEAL IMPLANT, and several others who are considering breast augmentation also plan on getting the IDEAL IMPLANT because they’ve seen the results and see the benefits of it. The feedback is very positive overall.”

Dr. Setty was recently recognized as an Ideal Implant Premier Network Surgeon due to his unsurpassed experience using these implants in breast enhancement surgery. Women from all over the United States select Dr. Setty for their McKinney plastic surgery procedure due to his impressive experience and education, and his ability to make them feel comfortable and welcome in his office.
