Women who are more mature in age are often mature in their decision making. Having life experience and self-assurance gives them the perspective they need to weigh the benefits of breast surgery. Their reasons for getting breast implants and their expectations for the outcome are different than those of younger women. It is important for women over 40 to take into consideration the following factors when planning for breast augmentation:
- Overall health – Every breast augmentation patient needs to be in good general health to be considered a good candidate for the procedure. Healthy eating habits and regular exercise are key, but if you have certain health issues, the surgery may not be right for you.
