The IDEAL IMPLANT Design
The advanced design of the IDEAL IMPLANT® Structured Breast Implant makes it different than other implant options. Women no longer have to choose between safety and the look they desire. The IDEAL IMPLANT is made up of a series of implant shells that hold two separate chambers filled with saline. This structured implant technology helps control the movement of the saline to eliminate sloshing, known as the “water-hammer” effect. It also supports the implant edges to reduce collapse and rippling.
No Risk of “Silent Rupture”
IDEAL IMPLANT® Structured Breast Implants carry no risk of “silent rupture.” Women can always know if their implants are intact by simply looking in the mirror. A “silent rupture” occurs when silicone gel implants begin to leak sticky silicone gel into the surrounding tissues of a woman’s body. An MRI is the only way to detect this kind of rupture. The FDA recommends that women receive an MRI scan every other year if they have received silicone gel implants. This is not needed with the IDEAL IMPLANT.
