Women who want to know all their options for breast augmentation won’t feel rushed during their initial consultation with Dr. Bachelor. For the past three decades, Dr. Bachelor and his qualified team have helped women achieve beautiful, natural-looking results with breast implants. Now, with IDEAL IMPLANT® Structured Breast Implants, women can finally achieve beauty without compromise.

The Unique Design of the IDEAL IMPLANT

Both silicone breast implants and saline-filled implants have been standard options for breast augmentation for a long time. Women like the look and feel of silicone gel, which mimics breast tissue, but they experience more peace of mind with saline-filled implants, which are filled only with a sterile saline solution.

Unfortunately, women with silicone gel implants can experience silent rupture, where they don’t know silicone gel is leaking into their body tissue. The FDA recommends women obtain an MRI three years after surgery, and then every two years after that, which is expensive and usually not covered by insurance. Saline-filled implants are filled with a sterile saltwater solution, but tend to feel like water balloons without any inward structure to keep the saline in place. They are prone to wrinkling and rippling, and women say they don’t feel as natural.

When the IDEAL IMPLANT was designed, it took the most desirable features from both silicone breast implants and saline-filled implants and combined them for a beautiful, natural look. They are filled with saline, but have a series of nested shells within the implant to keep the saline from sloshing around and to give them structure. You can be confident the IDEAL IMPLANT is intact every day just by looking in the mirror; you won’t need MRI imaging. These structured implants feel natural, have great safety features, and give women the look they want. At your initial consultation for your plastic surgery in Pleasanton, CA, you can ask to see all the implants side by side and feel the IDEAL IMPLANT difference.

The IDEAL IMPLANT Outperforms Silicone Breast Implants

Recent results from the eight-year core clinical trials showed that the IDEAL IMPLANT has significantly lower rates of both rupture and capsular contracture. Only 2.1% of patients with the IDEAL IMPLANT experienced a rupture in their implants after primary augmentation, whereas 7.2 to 13.6 percent of women with the top brands of silicone gel implants experienced a rupture. Another common breast implant complication is capsular contracture. Only 6.6% of IDEAL IMPLANT patients experienced capsular contracture, compared to capsular contracture rates with silicone gel implants from Allergan (16.2%, at seven years), Mentor (10.9%, at eight years), and Sientra (11.2%, at eight years).

Before and After Photos Using IDEAL IMPLANT

Unlike silicone breast implants that come pre-filled, the IDEAL IMPLANT is inserted empty into the breast pocket. This allows surgeons to achieve a more symmetrical look in their patients, filling the implants during the actual surgery with the sterile saline solution. Often, doctors will use a slightly different number of cubic centimeters, (or cc) per breast if the patient’s breasts were slightly asymmetrical prior to surgery to achieve a more proportionate, balanced look.

This 36-year-old patient of Dr. Bachelor’s chose to have IDEAL IMPLANT Structured Breast Implants for her breast augmentation. Dr. Bachelor used a submuscular placement (under the pectoral muscle) and an inframammary incision (an incision in the lower crease of the breast). The right breast is filled to 335cc, and the left breast is filled to 370cc. This woman was able to achieve round, full, natural-looking results.
