Dr. Usha Rajagopal, a board-certified plastic surgeon, is committed to empowering her patients by helping them select the right procedures for their vision, body type, and lifestyle. In her own words below, Dr. Rajagopal describes why she offers the IDEAL IMPLANT® Structured Breast Implant to her San Francisco breast implants patients.  After her comments, see for yourself the results of breast augmentation with the IDEAL IMPLANT.

What do you like about the IDEAL IMPLANT as a surgeon?

As a surgeon, here are the several reasons I like the IDEAL IMPLANT:

  • It’s a great implant for patients that do not want silicone gel. When you have a saline-filled implant, it certainly is the safest implant because, even if it leaks in the future, it is easily identifiable and can be easily removed and replaced.
  • IDEAL IMPLANT really gives a nice result and I would say the results are similar to a silicone gel implant in the sense that the results are natural. You do get a nice amount of upper pole fullness without rippling or wrinkling of the skin surface.

What types of patients can benefit from the IDEAL IMPLANT and why?

Patients who benefit are patients who otherwise not be a good candidate for traditional saline implants. So, women who are quite thin, meaning people who do not have much subcutaneous fatty tissue, or have lax soft tissue or stretch marks. Also, patients who don’t want to do a silicone gel implant and want to go with a saline-filled implant.

What can a woman expect with an IDEAL IMPLANT breast augmentation?

She can expect very nice implants with IDEAL IMPLANT. She can expect that her breast will have a nice shape, a nice upper pole fullness, and still feel soft without issues of rippling.
