Before opening his private practice, Dr. Park served in the U.S. Air Force providing medical and surgical care for pilots and their families, as well as life-saving treatment for civilians and wounded soldiers. When stationed in Japan, he was Chief of Otolaryngology providing ENT and facial plastic surgical services to both Yokota and Misawa Air Bases. He was later appointed Chief of Plastic Surgery at Wright Patterson AFB when on tour in Ohio. Then when deployed to Afghanistan as part of Operation Enduring Freedom, he used his trauma and reconstructive surgical skills to provide life-changing surgeries to those with complex battlefield injuries, including humanitarian surgeries for the Afghan people. Once home from Afghanistan, Dr. Park served as the Chief of Plastic Surgery at Nellis AFB in Nevada until retiring after 24 years of service.
