About A New You Plastic Surgery and Laser Center
Dr. Rajendra Shah has practiced in the Chicago area for most of his medical career. After receiving his M.D. in India, Dr. R. Shah completed his surgery residency at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Hospital in Chicago before entering the plastic surgery residency program at Ohio State University. Dr. R. Shah returned to the Chicago area where he opened his private practice and has been a member on staff at Christ Hospital since 1983.
Dr. R. Shah served as a clinical instructor at Ohio State University, then as assistant professor in the Department of Plastic Surgery at Rush Medical College in Chicago until 1994. He is currently a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He has been involved in training plastic surgery residents for over 15 years. He routinely lectures at the University on various topics in cosmetic surgery. Teaching the new generation of plastic surgeons has been a rewarding experience for Dr. R. Shah.
Dr. Samir Shah is an artist, and individualizes his approach to patients and gives honest recommendations combining his understanding of anatomy and surgical expertise to achieve beautiful and natural results. Dr. S. Shah earned his medical degree at the Chicago Medical School. Thereafter, he trained in general surgery and subsequently completed a plastic surgery fellowship at Loyola University Medical Center. He has published numerous scholarly articles in medical journals, and he participates in plastic surgery resident education at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Dr. S. Shah is grateful to have the unique opportunity to practice with his father who has over thirty years of experience in plastic surgery.
